Help · Care Guide

Made to last. Cared for, it lasts longer.

A few small habits keep your piece, and the word it carries, looking its best for years. Modest, considered, and built to be worn often.

01/Everyday care

Five simple habits.

Nothing fussy. Just the essentials that keep heavyweight cotton and a considered print at their best.

01

Wash

Cold, inside out

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, turned inside out, with like colours. Cold water protects the fabric's structure and keeps the print crisp. Skip the fabric softener; it coats the fibres and dulls both colour and print over time.

02

Dry

Low heat, or lay flat

Tumble dry low, or lay flat to dry for the longest life. High heat is the main thing that shrinks heavyweight cotton and stresses a print, so keep it gentle. Reshape while damp so it dries true to size.

03

Print

Never iron the print

If you iron, turn the piece inside out and press around the print, never directly over it. Direct heat can crack or lift the design. A quick steam on the reverse side is the safest way to refresh it.

04

Longevity

Wash less, wear more

Heavyweight cotton-fleece is built to be lived in. Air it out between wears and wash only when it needs it. Fewer washes means the colour, the fabric and the meaning all last longer.

05

Store

Fold, don't hang

Fold knits and fleece rather than hanging them; hangers stretch the shoulders over time. Keep it somewhere dry and out of direct sun so the black, dark navy and sand stay rich.
